Quintet Casulanaand Rivka Golani, violaRepertory concert for piano and strings

Concert by the Quintet Casulana and the prestigious viola soloist Rivka Golani. Quintet Casulana is made up of five female musicians and the group’s name pays tribute to Maddalena Casulana, one of the first composers to publish her music in the Western world.

During the concert, a collection of small gems from the repertoire for piano and strings will be performed, such as Joaquín Turina’s Scène andalouse, a delicate yet passionate piece that combines Andalusian folklore with the innovations of French Impressionism.
